Terms of Service

What you get, what we ask of you, and what we are not promising.

Last updated 31 July 2026

1. What ROHU is

ROHU is a WireGuard VPN with a router that chooses an exit country per service and per application, a protected DNS resolver that blocks known phishing domains, and a kill switch.

Using it means agreeing to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

What a VPN does and does not do

A VPN protects the route your traffic takes. It does not make you anonymous, it does not make blockchain transactions private, it does not stop you approving a malicious contract, and it does not protect a device that is already compromised. Anyone selling you a VPN as anonymity is selling you something that does not exist.

2. Your account

Your account is a wallet address. There is no password to reset and no support process for recovering one.

This cuts both ways

If you lose access to the wallet, you lose the account. We cannot verify who you are by any other means — that is the same property that keeps us from holding your identity. A paid plan on a lost wallet is gone.

You are responsible for the security of the wallet you sign in with. A signature from your wallet is treated as you.

3. Plans, payment and refunds

Payment

Plans are paid on-chain in the ROHU token. Payment is verified by reading the transaction on the blockchain: the correct token, the correct recipient, the correct amount, and enough confirmations. The same transaction cannot pay twice.

What we cannot undo

On-chain payments are final. We cannot reverse a transaction, and we cannot recover funds sent to a wrong address, on the wrong chain, or in the wrong token. Check before you send.

Refunds

If the service does not work for you, tell us within 14 days of paying and we will refund the plan. We will not refund a plan that has been used for weeks, and we will not refund a wallet different from the one that paid.

Prices

The token price moves. The number of tokens a plan costs is calculated when you request a quote and may differ by the time you pay. Your plan runs for the period you bought regardless of what the token does afterwards.

4. Acceptable use

Our nodes are shared. One person abusing them gets the address blocked for everyone on it, so this list is short and enforced.

Do not use ROHU to:

We act on credible abuse reports. That may mean suspending an account without notice. We can identify an account from a report only where the report concerns a device we issued a tunnel address to — we cannot produce browsing history, because we do not have any.

5. Devices and fair use

Each plan allows a number of devices, shown on the plan. Devices are yours to add and revoke. There is no bandwidth cap, but a single account moving traffic on the scale of a business rather than a person may be asked to move to a suitable arrangement.

6. Availability

We do not offer an uptime guarantee. Nodes are rented from hosting providers, and a provider can fail, remove a location, or terminate a machine with little warning.

What we do instead of promising uptime: the router keeps a checked backup route, fails over only to a route it has verified, and shows you what it did and why. A country may disappear from the list. Your traffic should not disappear with it.

7. Security features, described accurately

8. Liability

ROHU is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, lost funds, or losses arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the previous twelve months.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Ending it

You can stop at any time. Cancelling leaves your access running until the period you paid for ends.

We may suspend or end an account that breaks section 4, or where required by law. If we end your account for a reason that is not your fault, we refund the unused part.

10. Not affiliated with Robinhood

ROHU is built for applications on Robinhood Chain. ROHU is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Robinhood Markets, Inc. or any of its companies. Robinhood is their trademark. Building on a public blockchain does not imply any relationship with the company that created it.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced before they take effect, and the date at the top will change. Continuing to use ROHU after that means accepting the new terms.
